Understanding Endocrinology with Dr. Ronald S. Watts
Eagle’s Landing Diabetes and Endocrinology conducts clinical trials to help determine the safety and effectiveness of medications used for the treatment of Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes and lipid disorders. Clinical trials are research studies designed to find new and improved ways to prevent or treat patients.

The clinical trials conducted at our facilities are approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and reviewed by an Institutional Review Board (IRB) to ensure the safety of patients participating in any research trial. Treatments may include new medications or new combinations of medications or new methods of using existing treatments.

Patients may volunteer to participate in clinical trials in which they meet the entry requirements. By participating in a clinical study, participants contribute to the advancement of healthcare for themselves and future generations.
